Get to Know Jesus

Christ Our Cornerstone

We all fall short and need forgiveness, healing, and new life. Jesus came to restore what was broken between us and God.

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” — Romans 3:23
“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” — Romans 6:23

Following Christ begins by believing that Jesus is the Son of God, that He died for your sins, and that He rose again to give you new life.

“If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” — Romans 10:9
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son…” — John 3:16

Jesus invites us not only to believe, but to turn toward Him and make Him Lord of our lives.

“Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out.” — Acts 3:19
“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us.” — 1 John 1:9

God speaks through His Word. The Bible helps us know who God is, how to live, and how to grow.

“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” — Psalm 119:105
“All Scripture is God-breathed and useful for teaching…” — 2 Timothy 3:16

Suggested starting point: Read the Gospel of John and spend a few minutes daily asking God to speak to you.

Faith is not meant to be lived alone. We would love to pray with you, encourage you, and walk with you.

“Where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” — Matthew 18:20

Baptism is a public declaration of your faith and an outward sign of an inward change.

“Repent and be baptized… in the name of Jesus Christ.” — Acts 2:38
“We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death… in order that we may live a new life.” — Romans 6:4

As you follow Christ, your life will begin to produce fruit — love, peace, obedience, and transformation.

“By their fruit you will recognize them.” — Matthew 7:16
“The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace…” — Galatians 5:22–23

Jesus, I believe You are the Son of God.
I confess my need for You.
Forgive my sins, lead my life, and help me follow You.
I surrender my life to you. Amen
