Hey TDP family Family Camp is here! I just wanted to say we are excited that you can all join us. 

As mentioned before we see this as three-fold. We wanted to spend some time together as a family of Christ, we wanted to allow people and families to get away in God’s creation and spend some time alone or together enjoying taking a break from the stress of life, and then lastly we wanted to encourage you all in your faith by being in an environment that has corporate worship and the Word shared each morning. There will be different churches, families, groups up there all staying together doing the same thing. It may be a little different than how we do church but it is always a blessing to worship with other believers.

When you arrive there will be a program flyer that indicates all the main activities that you can enjoy (for some of them you need to sign-up for like zip-line and tournaments so keep that in mind) - they usually have a sign-up outside the program center where we will gather each morning at 10AM for worship and the Word. Use the next few days to take a hike (there is an actual mountain you can hike, pool to swim, mini-golf, frisbee golf, a walk to a waterfall, paddleboating on the lake, daily programs and kids activities as well as a great snack shop and game room. One of the things I love about Spruce Lake is that there are plenty of things for everyone to do and everything is optional.

We are going to try to find a time on Monday to meet up as a church - maybe for a time of worship, smores or just to chat (I’ll let you know when we get there after I get the current schedule for the week); otherwise, there is no official TDP program as we want people to do the things that interest them and build community as they feel comfortable. Though I will encourage everyone to meet up at 10AM each morning for worship and the message.

For those that want to use the pool, I know they have a 1 piece / conservative bathing-suit rule.

CHURCH CAMP INFO (SIGN UP IF INTERESTED BY APRIL 18th)

Hey Church!

A few updates for you about CHURCH CAMP…

We mentioned a month ago we were looking at doing church away together for a few days and we need to count interest for us to see if this will be feasible. I wanted to give you some information so you could give us a heads up if you would be interested in joining us this year.

Date: July 12-17 (we would want to commit to at least 3 nights if possible)

Location: Spruce Lake Retreat (Pocano Mountains)

The goal is to spend time as a church body in fellowship but the great part about this camp is they have all the activities, speakers and worship prepared for us and the other families and churches joining. We will spend some time just as our church body (we get a community room) and we will encourage families and friends to spend time together too. Our schedule will be based off of the Family Week Schedule and include some TDP time too!

Prices are unique because they are based off the full 5 nights but there are some subsedized options too.

Full 5 nights (all included): Standard Rooms (include program & 15 meals) is $965 for 1 person and then additional persons are $365 (12+) or $162 (6-11). Those younger than 6 are free.

Partial Week cost is going to be around $200 a night per room per family (I think sleeps up to 5) but then you have to pay individually for your meal plans. Meals average out to $20 per meal per person (kids 5 and under are free). 

There may be some campsite options available (about $70 a night) and you would be responsible for your own meals (there is a bath house with shower and toilets). These will go quick if there are any left.

Dave has toured with and opened for artists such as For King & Country, Jeremy Camp, Big Daddy Weave, Michael W. Smith, Mercy Me, Sidewalk Prophets, Unspoken, Jason Gray, Rend Collective, Paul Baloche, and more.
